Warning Light On? Get an Actual Answer.

Jamie scans the vehicle at your place, works out what is genuinely causing the fault, and explains it in plain English. You get a fixed price for the fix before anything is touched.

Engine lights, limp mode, rough running and no-starts Plain English, not a printout full of codes Fixed price for the repair, agreed before work starts

Light flashing rather than steady? Stop driving and call.

Flashing light: stop and call

Steady light: get it looked at soon

A Fault Code Tells You Where to Look, Not What to Replace

Anyone can plug in a scanner and read a code. The code names the circuit or the reading that is out of range, and that is genuinely useful, but it is a starting point rather than an answer.

A code pointing at an oxygen sensor can be a failed sensor, or it can be an exhaust leak, a wiring fault, or an engine running badly for a completely separate reason. Fitting the part the code names and hoping is how people end up paying for two repairs and still having the light on. Jamie tests to confirm the cause before he quotes to replace anything.

Stored and pending codes read, plus live data The cause confirmed by testing, not assumed from the code Explained to you in words, without the jargon A fixed price to fix it, agreed before work starts

What Jamie Gets Called Out To

If your car is doing one of these, it is worth a look before it turns into a tow.

Check Engine Light

The catch-all light. It can mean something minor or something that is quietly damaging the engine, and the only way to know which is to read it and test.

Limp Mode and Lost Power

The car drops to reduced power to protect itself. It is doing that for a reason, and continuing to drive on it usually makes the underlying fault worse.

Rough Idle and Misfires

Shaking at the lights, hesitation under load, or a stumble on cold mornings. Often ignition or fuel related, and generally cheaper to sort early.

No Start and Electrical Faults

Cranks but will not fire, clicks and does nothing, or a battery that keeps going flat. Battery, charging and parasitic drain all get tested properly.

Overheating and Temperature Warnings

Temperature climbing, coolant disappearing, or the heater blowing cold. Worth catching fast, because a hot engine damages quickly.

Noises You Cannot Describe

Knocks, whines, clunks over bumps and grinding on turns. Hard to explain on the phone, straightforward once someone is standing next to it.

Light On Right Now?

Tell Jamie what the light looks like and what the car is doing. He will tell you whether it is safe to keep driving before you book anything.
